Preparing your stay

Patient-centred care

Respect for our patients' privacy and intimacy

Everything has been done to protect your privacy. Our staff is trained to respect medical confidentiality and to work with discretion and efficiency.

Psychological support

The medical, paramedical and administrative teams of LA ROSE clinic are aware of the psychological impact that an illness or condition can have on our patients. We attach particular importance to our patients' well-being, which is an integral part of our mission. We remain attentive and supportive.

Your stay

Your welcome

The entire La Rose team remains at your disposal 24/7 to help you with your administrative procedures in the best possible conditions.

Your admission

Our qualified staff at the admissions desk is specially trained to take care of you. To complete your admission quickly, please come to the admissions desk with the following documents:

  • Your ID document.
  • Your CNAM affiliation card or your insurance card.
  • Your care voucher.
  • All your medical examinations.
  • Your medical prescriptions.
  • Provide for the payment of an advance, the amount of which will be set according to your condition.
  • The contact of a trusted person.

Any insurance document must be provided no later than before discharge so that you can benefit from reimbursement.
Your medical record, created upon admission, remains confidential and will under no circumstances be disclosed without your consent. The medical record is computerized and secured, so the attending physician has real-time access to it.
Upon admission to your room, your identification as a patient in our clinic is ensured via a bracelet; you will then be asked to sign the consent form.

Our qualified teams will be at your disposal and will ensure pain management, medication management, fall prevention, haemovigilance and infection prevention, …

Valuables

We advise you not to bring valuables so as not to damage or lose them.
The clinic is in no way responsible in this case. We therefore invite you to bring only what is necessary to change.

If you have brought valuables, please contact the ward supervisor who will keep them for you in the safe the clinic has made available in each department.

Your discharge

Once your attending physician gives their agreement for discharge or transfer, we help you prepare this step at your side.

If you wish to leave against medical advice, you must first sign a discharge form after being informed of the risks involved, which will release our establishment from liability.

Before leaving the clinic, we invite you to go to our billing department where you will have access to a detailed invoice of your stay.

If you have any questions about its content, our staff will be happy to provide the necessary clarifications. Our billing department will answer your financial questions and our medical staff will answer your medical questions.

Prevention

The safety of our patients is our priority, hence the importance of implementing a quality approach based on the Canadian standard.

Compliance with regulatory requirements and the accreditation process will enable us to better manage our potential risks and address potential incidents.

A safety culture is being instilled, aiming to report our adverse events (AE), map our risks and monitor our actions and indicators.

Your involvement is a pillar of continuous improvement of our culture and practices.

Your feedback is our working material for continuous improvement.

Our caregivers are at your disposal; do not hesitate to share your suggestions and complaints with them.

Regulations and instructions

Our internal regulations:

IT IS FORBIDDEN TO:

  • Smoke.
  • Drink alcohol.
  • Throw away food waste.
  • Make noise.
  • Appear in improper attire.
  • Damage the equipment.
  • Give tips to staff.
  • Eat food other than the prescribed meals.
  • Park in front of the emergency door.

Keeping calm during your stay

To allow you to rest, we suggest that visiting hours be as follows:

Visits to the intensive care unit must be granted beforehand by the intensive care physician and may not exceed 2 very close persons and are forbidden to children under 16.

Charter of the hospitalized patient

  • 1Everyone has the right to the protection of their health in the best possible conditions, without discrimination based on religion, sex, colour, age or socio-economic position — taking into account the specific needs of certain categories of patients whose condition requires priority care (emergencies, disabled persons, the elderly, children and pregnant women).
  • 2We are required to welcome our patients and their companions well and to provide them with the best possible services, in strict respect of their rights and freedoms.
  • 3We ensure that our patients receive curative and palliative care.
  • 4When handling emergencies, we give priority to the provision of health services, administrative and financial matters being settled later.
  • 5We make information and orientation signage available to our users as well as the means to communicate their suggestions; we undertake to examine their observations and complaints and to respond to them.
  • 6We take appropriate measures to facilitate access for disabled persons and those with reduced mobility to our premises and services, in the best possible conditions.
  • 7Every patient is free to choose the establishment where they will be treated, within the limits of their means and in compliance with the provisions of the welfare, social security and health insurance schemes.
  • 8The patient is required to respect their obligations towards the establishment and its staff and to comply with the laws and procedures in force.
